Ingredients
  • French Toast
  • 1 Loaf of Challah Bread
  • 1½ Cup Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 TSP Vanilla Extract
  • 1 TSP Nutmeg
  • 3 TBSP Butter
  • Peach Topping
  • 1 Can of Sliced Peaches (15 ounces)
  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • ¼ Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Cinnamon
  • 1 TSP Nutmeg
  • 1 TSP Vanilla Exact
  • Chopped Pecans or Walnuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Start by pouring milk into medium size bowl
  2. Pour in granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla
  3. Add eggs and stir for 3 minutes or until well incorporated.
  4. Dip sliced bread in mixture for 3 seconds on each side
  5. Heat skillet with approximately 1 TBSP of butter for every 2 slices.
  6. When melted, place bread in skillet. Let cook for 2-3 minutes on each side
  7. Place all slices in oven for 5 minutes at 350 degrees
  8. Peach Topping
  9. Melt 1 TBSP butter in heated skillet.
  10. Pour in the can of peaches
  11. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract
  12. Stir until well incorporated
  13. Cover until sauce thickens.
  14. Add in nuts of your choice
